The Botanicamuse Approach

Our approach to the wedding planning process is layered in detail. Each Botanicamuse wedding client works hand-in-hand with Madeleine, the owner of Botanicamuse. We guide you through the event design and floral process, asking lots of questions and listening to your wishes so we can express your personality in flowers on your wedding day for an unforgettable, bespoke experience.

We believe your special event is a reflection of your taste and values. In creating a dream event experience, we take the time to get to know you.

Please pull any inspiration images - wedding related or otherwise! What colors appeal to you? What is your favorite go-to accessory? Is there a resort with decor you love? What about your venue?

Articulating and translating your personal style is our specialty. When you walk into your party, we want you and your guests to feel your personal style shine through every detail. This is first step of that process.

Step One

What Inspires You?

Step Three
Booking Your Event

We begin our consultation process through a phone call or video appointment. During our call, I do a lot of listening.

I want to hear about you and get to know you. This is where inspiration imagery from step one comes into play.

We discuss creative aspects of the day, your overall budget for flowers, decor and logistics - how many tables, what is the timeframe of the event, how many locations will guests be moving through?

Within a week of our phone call, you will receive a written quote outlining the ideas we discussed.

Step Two
Consultation

Step Four
Refining Your Event

Woohoo! You’ve decided we are your perfect match floral and event designer.

To book an event with Botanicamuse, we request a 40% retainer payment and signed contract.

From this point, we delve further into the details that make your event planning process inspiring and custom-tailored from sharing inspiration imagery to mood boards to digital renderings - especially if we are working in a color palette that is unusual.

We offer the option to add a sample meeting to your proposal.
Sample meetings are held alongside Botanicamuse and your planner.
We work in tandem and present a preview of your florals, linens, rentals, and paper goods.

We collaborate and play with rental options (do you still like the ceramic vase we talked about initially or are you more drawn to brass?), color palette, scale, and refine our design until we reach the ultimate visual representation of your personalities.

(This is my favorite part of the process before event day!)

We are teeming with excitement as we work behind the scenes bringing the details of your special day to life. This is the culmination of our many email exchanges, meetings, and collaborative planning process.

It is our hope to gift you peace of mind regarding your flowers and event design so you can focus all of your attention of savoring the moment and hosting your beloved guests.

We collect all flowers, rentals, and styling elements at the conclusion of your event.

Step Five - It’s The Big Day!
