Inspiration to Reality
Digital renderings create a visual for the descriptions in our proposals. This tool allows clients an opportunity for viewing scale, color palettes and rental options prior to in-person mock-up meetings.
A continuous tabletop floral meadow for a corporate dinner party for NBCUniversal in Cal-a-Vie’s 16th century chapel. We transported guests to Italy with a fresh, summery feel dripping in Kelly green, citrus, chartreuse, and glowing candlelit ambiance.
A timeless, full scale Jewish Chuppah design at Alila Marea Beach Resort in Encinitas, California. We created an elegant, garden tropical installation with structural palms, hanging orchid strands, and suspended votives transitioning the design into a romantic ceremony altar for this evening black tie wedding by the ocean.
This 24ft head table design features garden tropical floral bridges with pink ginger, phalaenopsis orchids, anthurium and tropical foliage in shades of white, blush, coral, and fruit punch. Clear, frosted, crystal cut and iridescent glass hurricanes lend a clean, modern finish to the tabletop. Hanging votives add ambiance to the dining experience at the Alila Marea in Encinitas.
Digital Renderings make it easy to switch out colors
Digital renderings also give an opportunity to see how a design would look if we added or eliminated a color. Here’s an example of a wedding that incorporated sand, blush, slate blue, coral, and sun bleached brick in the floral color story. The bride and I discussed adding blue into the ceremony site and I sent her a digital rendering so she could see how a pop of blue would look in the design. Our final look stayed in a more warm tone palette with shades of periwinkle sprinkled into the reception flowers.

Brittney, our bride, opted with a ceremony color palette in sand, blush, coral, and poppy red tones. Love the way it turned out and the serendipity of the navy and white striped awning in the background.
A golden arch at the Hotel Del Coronado’s Vista Walk Terrace blends garden style floristry with exotic tropical flowers and foliage varieties with a subtle ombre effect transitioning from taupe and blush florals to juicy coral and poppy reds for a sophisticated, modern feel. Structural palms lend shape while dripping vines and lush ferns soften the design.
For NBCUniversal’s annual ladies retreat at Cal-a-Vie Health Spa, we flipped the design upside down and created a setting rich in a fresh, eye-catching color palette of chartreuse, lemon yellow, cream, and Kelly green.
Two classic statement floral arrangements placed on pillar stands complements the expansive view of the greens at the Lodge at Torrey Pines. We accented the back of the aisle with a sprawling floral meadow designed with an abundance of textural botanicals for a wildflower aesthetic. Following the ceremony, the statement urns were transferred to the entrance of the reception ballroom as welcome decor with a collection of twinkling votives. The floral meadow moved to the front of the band as stage decor.
A hexagon arch in shades of white, cream, periwinkle, and sage green draws inspiration from the ocean view at L’Auberge in Del Mar. Wispy, textural grasses and a collection of driftwood pieces echo the setting and lend a coastal feel to the altar.
Intimate dining for a wedding of ten guests in a palette of sky blue, peach, and pink overlooking the ocean at a private estate in La Jolla.
Ceremony Site that accentuates the sweeping ocean views and highlights the beauty of the setting. Ceremony settings look best when they respect the existing landscape and complement, not compete, with a view.
These floral bridges were a focal point for a destination wedding at the iconic Hotel Del Coronado for a formal rehearsal dinner in the Caronet Room. We created two floral bridges with dripping verdant foliage and floral in shades of white with suspending votives and an abundance of candlelight on the tabletop for a modern interpretation of a classic color combination.
